Seussical: The Musical
Theatre is a form of knowledge; It should and can also be a means of transforming society. Theatre can help us build our future, rather than just waiting for it.
Danvers High School Academy Theatre Society is the theatre arts program at Danvers High School, which produces three productions each school year; a fall musical, a one act play which competes in the Massachusetts Educational Theatre Guild competition and a spring production. The program is open to all students who attend Danvers High School. Members can participate in any number of capacities including acting, design, costumes, scenery, properties, lighting, sound, stage management and all the other aspects that go into making a show successful. Meetings are the first or second Wednesday of each month at 2:40pm in the theatre. Additional meetings and rehearsals are scheduled throughout the school year and are announced through the school and on the virtual call board here on the website.
